Human by Nature. Effective by Experience. Boutique by Design.
Weāve been at this since 2014. Back then we called ourselves Discovering Grace Adventures, which should tell you something about how unclear we were on who we were. We ran tours, camps, team-building days, retreats, trainingsāif you had a group and a budget, weād say yes. We learned a lot in those early years, mostly about what we were best at and what we wanted to give our full attention to.
The rebrand to Move Mountains came in 2015. A few years after that, we made the decision that really defined us: we went all in on leadership development. We let go of everything else and committed to the work that lights us up mostāhelping leaders and teams grow in ways they can actually feel.
When COVID hit in 2020, we moved to Zoom, offered free trainings, and stayed right beside the leaders weād been working with. The world was uncertain, people were stretched thin, and showing up for them during that time was one of the best things weāve ever done. Those relationships deepened. When things opened back up, leaders came back, brought their teams, and started referring us to people weād never met. Thatās still how most of our work beginsāsomeone picks up the phone because someone they trust had a great experience.
A decade of doing this work has made one thing really clear to us: the leaders we work with are already smart, capable people. They donāt need more information about what good leadership looks like. What they need is the ability to access it when it matters mostāin a tough conversation, under pressure, when old habits want to run the show. Thatās the work we love. Closing the gap between what people know and what they can actually do in the moment.
Our programs build real capacity. We engage the whole personābody, mind, emotion, spiritābecause thatās how human beings actually grow. Not through slides and frameworks alone, but through experience, practice, and the kind of work you can feel shifting something in you. People leave our sessions different than when they walked in, and that difference holds.
We stay with our clients for 6 to 24 months because thatās what it takes to turn new awareness into lasting behavior, and lasting behavior into culture. We work across three levels of an organizationāthe climate people feel every day, the systems that shape how work gets done, and the deeper culture that ties it all together. Itās thorough work, and itās what makes the change stick.
In 2022 we began partnering with The Bryan Group, and combining our approaches has made the work even better. More depth, more consistency, more of what we were already chasingāreliable results that hold up over time.
Today weāre a boutique mindful leadership firm based in Lake Tahoe, and we love what we do. We weave together training, coaching, speaking, and adventure into programs we co-design with every client. The person on your discovery call is the same person in the room doing the work. Thereās no handoff. Thereās no B-team. Just good people doing meaningful work alongside your team.
