Breathing and Connecting

Today we discuss why coming back to the breath as our most important tool during these dynamic times. We also explore why and how we seek connection?

Today’s Exercise:

  1. Breathing as tool to reconnect mind and body, breathe all day anyway
  2. Breathing techniques help to engage the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing heart rate, soothes. Allows the brains rational and empathetic center to engage. Today, we cover the following techniques:
    1. Qigong breathing with pause
    2. Anxiety calming breathing while sitting
    3. Square breathing
    4. Alternate nostril breathing to calm nervous system
