For ten years, I blended my love for teaching with my love for the outdoors in a school setting. I find immense value empowering others, giving them the tools to exceed their dreams and break down limiting thoughts. My work running outdoor programs and teaching civic engagement, psychology and history inspired me to challenge self-imposed limitations. and my journey with Mindfulness, which began in 2001, continually motivates me. I feel compelled to provide corporate team members with an opportunity to grow and excel as leaders, as team players, and as members of the human race.
Move Mountains encourages me every day. It is a reminder to constantly strive for a better way, that while we can enjoy every moment, we can also enjoy the opportunity to grow and live with the vibrant spirit of a life-long learner.
I try to provide opportunities for my clients and my staff to grow in mindfulness and effectiveness. I believe that with high expectations and high love, facilitators, guides and leaders can help their participants rise to greater heights.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” – Viktor Frankl
“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” – Henry David Thoreau
